Dan, and his lovely wife Sandy, make their home in Rome, Georgia. They met square dancing. After the church wedding they had a Square Dance reception! Dan started calling in 2005 and both him and Sandy attended Callers School in Chattanooga, TN for a year. Paul Henze, who is an accredited CALLERlab Caller Coach, was the teacher. Dan has been club caller for the Pleasant Grove Promenaders since January 2006. That club has helped him grow into the caller that he is today. He feels blessed to use his God-given talents and gifts in helping others to share the joy and fun of square dancing. He says, "Life is too short not to enjoy it.
