Lottie convinced her husband, Ray, to try Square Dancing in 1995. Both were hooked pretty fast! Lottie had a flair for entertaining and was a singer as well, so the next logical step was to become a square dance caller! By year 2000 Lottie not only wanted to be a caller, but a GOOD caller. She worked hard to that end and attended some Caller Colleges conducted by caller of note! From there things started really 'happening' for Lottie. She and Ray started the "Music Box Squares" & "Dixie Swingin' Teens" in their hometown of Eros, Louisiana in 2001. This was only the beginning.
