*Nathan Boone was our ggggg grandfather. Daniel stayed with Nathan during his last days at his St. Charles residence. Daniel died near St. Charles. Nathan was a pioneer and explorer in his own right. He was a Commissioned Captain and traveled Iowa, Arkansas, Kansas and Oklahoma (Indian Territory). He also worked directly with the tribes as they were brought into Oklahoma (Indian Territory) after the great migration sometimes called the "Trail of Tears".
