Two years ago I began fundraising
to buy bulletproof vests for our towns police dogs. After buying
the Escondido, Calif. police 6 vests I donated the extra money
to them and they bought another dog for the unit. Then I took
the campaign San Diego County wide. I have been successful
in vesting all 13 law enforcement agencies and even sent a
vest to the Chicago, Ill. and Monticello, New York police depts.
