The floating market in the northern part of the province that Bangkok is in is interesting. You can buy from boats any kind of food you never wanted to eat in your life, and crafts from the local people that live along the canals. They may not have streets, plumbing, doors, or windows, but they have sattelite dishes, TV's, and Nintendos.
Sales of many unknown vegetables !
Why doesn't this boat sink ?
They even cook on these boats! The Coast Guard and the Department of Health would probably have fits.
