Thailand December 1997

The hill tribe people of northern Thailand wander around in the Thailand, Cambodia, Laos area. The make some very fine craft items, which naturally they are always trying to sell them to you. This bunch was on top of a mountain out in the jungles from Chaing Mai. Some have settled and farm on the side of very steep slopes on the mountains. Agriculture methods are primative, still done by hand.
