Thomas Elmore was an immigrant and came ca:1654 from England. The first mention of Thomas Elmore is in the records of Virginia in June 1654 when Wm. Beach patented 700 acres in Wstmoreland Co. on the south side of the Potomac River. Beach was able to patent this land by claiming he was responsible for the transportation of 14 persons to the colony of Virginia. And this Thomas Elmore was one of them.
