SHEPARD7 WHEELER  (SHEPARD6, THOMAS5, ISAAC4, ISAAC3, THOMAS2, THOMAS1) was born Dec 5, 1756 in Stonington, New London Co., CT1, and died Dec 9, 1798 in Stonington, New London Co., CT2 and is buried at the Paul Wheeler Yard #40 in Stonington.  He married LUCY WHEELER Feb 13, 1780 in Stonington, New London Co., CT3, daughter of PAUL WHEELER and LUCY SWAN.  She was born Sep 27, 1757 in Stonington, New London Co., CT and died Dec. 11, 1805.  Lucy is buried at the Millington Cemetery, East Haddam, Middlesex Co., CT.

I received a copy of the transaction below from Frederick Burdick of Stonington, and who is a descendant of Joshua Burdick.
"October 4, 1793
I Joshua Burdick of Preston in the County of New London and the State of Connecticut, Yeoman, for & in consideration of the sum of twenty four pounds lawful silver money to me in hand paid by Samuel Brown of Westerly and Shepard Wheeler of Stonington, Yeoman, ... "
