Cans for Critters Jamboree

The San Diego Zoological Society invited each troop whose girls collected 200 cans each, to a special day at the World Famous San Diego Zoo! Despite a wet morning, the girls had a great time being treated to a special show thanking all the Boys and Girls Scouts of Southern California who participated in their Cans for Critters recycling drive. Together we earned over $38,000 for the zoological society. That's a lot of monkey chow! After the show, the troops were free to spend the day at the zoo. |
