A few of you have come to me asking if I had extra copies of the listing of the Personal Survival Kit items that I passed out a few weeks ago. Some have said theirs were misplaced, some said they never picked one up, and others just wanted another copy. Anyway, I have attached therewith the word document that I used for the handout. I would encourage all of you to have a personal survival kit and ask that it be part of every outing that you take. To have one is a necessary requirement to complete the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge. I believe I announced a little over a week ago that I have found a counselor that will sign off the merit badge for those that complete the program during this fall theme. I am thinking of trying to have him come to our December 6th Troop meeting to interview the Scouts and sign the blue cards. Thanks, Hank
