Due to the messy nature of freshly mixed fibreglass resin and
its nasty habit of running through small gaps and ruining carefully
painted surfaces the skirt hemi's are glassed in using a jig
consisting of a ladder and unfinished Zombie drum. If the skirt was
upright 'glassing would be an impossible nightmare. To guard
against resin seeping through any small gap twixt hemi and skirt
a small amount of hot glue is applied to the rim edge and hemi's are
afixed one row at a time on left and right edge as can be clearly
seen in this photo. Respirator is worn with correct filter at ALL times
as fumes are toxic !
