Fender is shown here finished - note the thin wooden batons
that are in place to secure rubber to fibreglass upper, front curved
wood is bent using method of submerging in hot water, removing
and bending to shape. Wood is then secured in place by drilling and
screwing through from the outside in countersunk holes, which are
then filled and sanded so screw heads are concealed prior to overall
painting of the fender.
