Trip to Austria
Throw Another Shrimp on the Barbi
It all started years ago when Paul and Sandra Luttrel were going to get married in Innsbruck Austria. Dawn and Tia were watching the Sound of Music and brushing up on thier German when I had to break it to her that we were not going to be able to go.
Well 6 years later and #3 on the way we decided to take Paul and Sandra up on thier offer. This photograph was taken in the garden of the castle where they had thier reception. Sandra's family was great. She has 3 sisters and all of them are married with children and dispite any language barrier the kids had a wonderful time playing together.
Sandra's family kept us busy. On the second day of the trip they took us on a hike in the mountians. The whole family oldest to toddlers! Now as Sandra informed us.... it is considered a complement to tell a woman that she has "eyes like a cow". Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it for myself. Not that you can see them clearly from here but they are pretty cool. However if any of you single guy's are thinking of using this line make sure she is a Tyrolean.
The food there was great! Really good bread, cheese, sausage, beer and Lois's sourkraut.
