Fence
We finally finished the fence!

We finally saved and purchased the wood for the redwood/cedar fence. My buddy Scott Finilla and Kevin helped build the bulk of it on a Saturday afternoon. 
From there I was able to finish the driveway side as well as installing the cedar 1x6 boards. After the fence was finished I built a gate across the driveway and in the front (approx where I am standing to take the picture here) for security and to hide were we store the trash cans.
The fence has made a huge impact on the look of the house as well as our privacy and living space. We also can let the kids play outside without worrying that they are going to end up in the street. Both Scott and Tony recommended that I stain the fence. So we created some stain by thinning down the color of the house and then applied a coat of linseed oil on both sides. That was a great idea. The finished product looks great.
