Got Plants! 
With a little help from Brian Adams (no not the singer he is actually a brother in our hall) we got some beautiful plants for the front of the house. Well the deal was... I put a new roof on his garage and he puts plants, sprinklers and lighting in my planters. Needless to say Brian did a great job!
My friends have been teasing me about having a 'concrete jungle' for 4 years now. Well all things in due time. You have to get things right. For example see that white pipe sticking up there. That is a clean out for my drainage pipes in the bottom of my planters. I also needed to waterproof, stucco and seal them prior to planting... all these things take time.
Well it still may look like a concrete jungle but at least it has a little green. My plan is to never have to mow the lawn. Once this seemingly never ending project is over I want to spend my Saturday afternoons doing something other than mundane yard maintenance. This picture was taken the day after but we have since planted several banana plants that have really changed the appearance. I will include another picture later.
Oh and see that white van? That is one of Mark Zevotek's fleet. Yes it is parked in front of my house (one of the little things I have to put up with). So obviously there won't be any pictures of the front of the house without the white van.
