Skiing and Snowmobiling
Our friends the Kleese's in Devils' Lake North Dakota invited us on a ski trip to Boseman Montana where we encountered plenty of snow.
It was the girls first time skiing so I spent the first day helping them learn the basics. Tia really surprised me since she was able to ride the chair
lift herself after a couple of times going up with me.
On one of the days we went snowmobiling through Yellowstone National Park. We had a great time and saw lots of beautiful scenery. Fortunately for us we took warm clothes since it was below zero when we started in the morning. There was lots of wildlife and I think Dawn started a Buffalo stampede.
Driving in the snow offered me a good opportunity to recall my early adverse weather training in Ohio. Although our van had front wheel drive and I couldn't do any "fish tails" it really came in handy on the drive home.
