RULES FOR BUYING RAFFLE TICKETS:

The purpose of the raffle is to raise money for The Nora Roberts Foundation, a charitable foundation that makes donations to many worthy causes. From 2000 to 2005 we have raised $17,120. Here's what Nora had to say recently about the Foundation:

"The Foundation is a significant contributor for the new Boonsboro library. They will be breaking ground late this year or early next year. It's also the major donor to the new pediatric wing in Frederick Memorial Hospital (where Kayla and Logan were born). It is the Kaylo Pediatric Center. It continues to donate to Pro Literacy, and to women’s shelters in Hagerstown and Frederick. The Foundation has also made a pledge to Shepherd University for their planned theater complex.”

Tickets are $5 each and checks should be made out to THE NORA ROBERTS FOUNDATION and received NO LATER THAN JULY 7, 2006 . Checks will not be cashed until after the drawing. Donations for raffle tickets may be tax deductible - consult your tax professional as we do not provide tax preparation advice.

Even if you are coming to TTP, please buy your tickets in advance for tracking purposes and for the list Nora will receive naming all the participants. Last minute tickets will be available the weekend of TTP X, but NO tickets will be sold the day of the drawing. Remember, if you buy tickets at the last moment, you may get lucky, but it means I get less time to have fun on TTP X weekend.

There is no limit to the number of tickets you can buy, but you may only win one basket, so we can share the joy and excitement of winning among as many people as possible. If you win and aren't at the drawing, your basket will be shipped to you. You are responsible for shipping costs which may run as much as $25-$30 depending on the distance and weight of the goodies. No COD's please.

If you can't be at the drawing it is your responsibility to let me, or a friend who will be at TTP, know which baskets you would like to win, in order of preference, and your address, phone and email address so you can be contacted if you win. I must have your choices by July 10th . Remember, it doesn't matter how many tickets you buy; if your name is called, you can choose any basket that is still available. Your preference list can have all the baskets numbers on it, or if you have just a few entries that really interest you and they're gone, we'll make a choice for you.
