May 29, 2006:
We have been having a lot of fun with Tunia since she arrived at our school. Since Tunia has visited us many times before, she likes to check out the shrubs and trees in the schoolyard to see how much they have developed since last spring. Here are some photos of Tunia at our school.|

Tunia was amazed at how large her special tree has grown since last May. She decided to rest in the shade of its branches and check for aphids on the new green leaves. |

The children have been learning how to play tennis in Physical Education classes. Tunia is ready to have a try at this sport herself! |
Tunia was happy to get reacquainted with our classroom pet, Cocoa. Every day Tunia and Cocoa enjoy reading with the Special Helper student. |
