January 14, 2005:   Tunia went to Spanish with us.  She learned how to say,”Gracias,” which means “Thank you,” in Spanish.  She learned how to do progressive stories in Music.  She learned how to draw cartoons in Art class.  She also watched us play in Gym class.  She had FUN!!!

January 25, 2005:  During the second week of Tunia’s visit, she played with a little stuffed lamb named Lullaby.  They played together at recess.  In school, Tunia learned the hard and soft sounds of c and g.  In social studies and reading, Tunia learned about the Indians that used to live in America.  They were: the Indians of the Eastern Woodlands, Indians of the Plains, Indians of the Southwest, of the Northwest Coast, and of the Far North.  At Mass, she learned to be thankful.  Next week, we will all be going on a Field Trip!
