Tunia
had fun helping us plant our seeds in science on Wednesday. We each planted a
kidney bean seed, a pea seed, a pumpkin seed, and a sunflower seed. We will observe
them everyday and record our observations in our science notebooks.

This
is another busy week in first grade. Our seeds have sprouted and are growing into
healthy seedlings. We get to take them home on Thursday. Parents are coming to
school on Friday for Parent Teacher conferences. We each made a life cycle
headband showing how a seed grows into a plant. We even made one for Tunia
since she likes plants so much!

This
week at the computer lab we used MS Paint to make our own ladybugs. Next, our
teacher showed us how we can add our pictures to our stories. We will write our
stories next week. Tunia liked the many different kinds of ladybugs that we
made.
