Renaissance Turbine is a site specific piece designed for Renaissance Tower, a mixed use development on the corner of Olympic and Hope in downtown Los Angeles.  It is suspended in an exterior four story vaulted arcade and acts as a power source or "engine" that activates the space and building in which it is housed.  The internal lighting element reflects off the polished copper cone of the hemisphere and creates a ring of light in the arcade and is visible for many blocks
