Renaissance Weather Station is a piece designed for the courtyard adjacent to Renaissance Tower, a mixed use development on the corner of Olympic and Hope in downtown Los Angeles.  It is a highly kinetic piece activated by wind and is particularly effective at night when its' polished metal surfaces reflect the incorporated metal halide lights. The piece acts as a "barometer of the day" for office bound workers nearby.
