Title

This tutorial was written and created in PSP 7. I used the old version of Eye Candy and Lattice Composer filters. The newer ones may produce different effects. The link for Lattice Composer is for the old version. If you don't have the Eye Candy 3 you can probably get similar results from Eye Candy 4 or PSP.
See notes below for help with PSP 6.

*NOTE: PSP 6 users - Since PSP 6 does not have a preset heart you will need to either use a dingbat or make your own. Here's my simple Vector Heart Tutorial if you'd like to use it. Assuming you have Eye Candy and Lattice Composer you should be able to do the rest of this tutorial.

1. Open a 400x400 transparent canvas and set your background color to white.
2. Using your preset shapes tool presetshapeschoose a heart and draw one on your canvas. My settings are show below.

3. Using your rectangle selection tool selections antialias unchecked, surround your heart then click in the center. Your heart will now be selected.
4. Go to Eye Candy - Chrome..my settings are shown. Use a light and a darker gray for the colors. Don't deselect.

5. While your heart is still selected go to the Lattice Composer filter. One of the settings I used is shown here, but play around with the different ones. When you find one you like, click apply. Don't deselect.

6. Now you need PSP's Chrome. Go to Effects-Artistic Effects-Chrome. My settings are shown.

7. Now tube the heart for later use and you're all done!

If you want a satin look with out the pattern leave out the Lattice Filter. Try playing with colors and colorizing for some more neat effects. Have fun!
