Our Pilot, Patrick, inflates the balloon we will ride in. This huge balloon is certified to carry 16 people. We had 13 people on our trip. We spent about 1 1/2 hours in the air at altitude up to 1 mile above sea level. My mother, sister Judy, and me. My late father, Mel Miller, was an accomplished organist. This picture shows the custom three manual Hammond he built. He died in 1973. I am currently transfering his reel to reel tapes to CD's. Left to right - Tom Miller -( holding a guitar that I don't know how to play - but no piano was available), Jim Johanyak, John Lamiell, and Fred Tschantz. Drummer Dave Wunderlich was not present. All were Barberton High students or graduates except Fred, who was from Ellet, Oh. The tuxedos were pink ! My niece, Jennifer is very talented in equestrian arts. The Late Lucy Ricardo (as close as she gets to smiling). My oldest son Craig, his wife Tanya and Madison and McKensie Miller. Craig in Poway, CA in August 2002 Craig kisses McKensie (with Elmo). Mitten Rock in Monument Valley - 06/2001 Just about on the Arizona - Utah border on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Spider Rock in Canyon De Chelly (de'shay) Also on the Navajo reservation near Chinle, AZ 06/2001 Upper Antelope Canyon near Lake Powell, on the Navajo reservation. It is classified as a "corkscrew slot canyon". It is about 100' deep and in places is only 3' wide. We are standing on the canyon floor looking forward and up. The slot canyon again with a beam of sunlight illuminating the dust. As the lighting conditions change so do the brilliance of the colors. 06/2001 This is the Colorado River just below Glen Canyon Dam in Page, AZ. 06/2001 A typical Arizona sunset. Taken right in front of our house. An even better sunset. Taken at Williams, AZ - 35 miles West of Flagstaff. Taken right after an intense summer monsoon storm on the way back from the Grand Canyon. From our August 1999 visit to the Grand Canyon An imported (from California) Giant Condor over the Grand Canyon. This bird is a baby and only has about a 4' wingspan. It will grow to 8 or 9 feet. The Condors play a lot. These two think they might be F-16's flying formation.
