I bought the May Issue of Guitar World with a one Mr. Jack White on the cover, and trust me, folks, it is well worth the five bucks. If you want to be cheap, however, you can see scans of the article at Triple Tremelo. What TT failed to mention, however, is that when you purchase the magazine, you also get a nice little mini-poster of Jack to go along with it. BUY CHILDREN, BUY!

So I'm finally updating again. I suppose it's not news anymore about all the music awards the White Stripes won at all the recent awards shows. But hey, what were we expecting, eh? In more recent news, do NOT be fooled by the illegitimate disc LP of The White Stripes being sold. It is supposedly released by XL Germany with a catalouge no. XLPD 149. It is fake!

Yes my friends, 'tis true. Mr. White was charged with aggravated assault for beating up Jason Stollsteimer of the Von Bondies. Apparently, Jack White attacked him, but it's not really clear. He turned himself in, and was released on a $100 bond. You can read the story for yourself here and here.
On a personal note, even though I do not know what spawned the fight or what really happened, I find it very respectable that he turned himself in. Hopefully all will be well for everyone involved.

Well, I saw Cold Mountain, and I must say I was very pleased with what greeted my eyes. Not only was the movie excellent, but Jack White did exceptionally well. I was very pleased with his role, and I thought he did a superb job, especially for it being his first acting role. For those of you who have not yet seen it, what are you waiting for?! I would be honored to hear everyone else's views on this, as well.
