Perhaps hardest to find among the American Modern glazes after Canteloupe and, maybe, Glacier Blue.

Collectors prize it for the depth of its speckled glaze and its resitance to crazing: looks great with Canteloupe, Coral, and others.

It's important to learn to distinguish Bean Brown, a reddish-brown glaze, from Black Chutney, a much darker, black-brown, with splotchy patterns.
