Learn "disbudding" for bigger & better blooms, "gibbing" for early blooms, removing and potting camellias air-layered
at the spring workshop. (for more info about these terms, click here). Bring pruning shears,
and garden gloves (optional). Free & Open to the public.

FALL CAMELLIA SHOW & PLANT SALE
Placement Committee Volunteers must have your own blooms entered by 8:30 so they can help others entering blooms. Judging
begins promptly at 10:30 AM Show not open to public until judging is over (approx. 12:30). PLANT SALES START AT 10:00 AM,
NOT BEFORE, and end when all plants are sold or by 4:00 PM Cash or personal check for plant sales--sorry no credit or
debit cards. Volunteers needed for show & plant sale. We will have as many beautiful camellia plants and as many
varieties as Bennett's Creek Wholesale Nursery can provide!

THEME: Gardens Throughout the Year. VA Beach Convention Center. Member volunteers needed to "talk camellias",
recruit new members, attend informative classes, and shop and shop at all the wonderful venders! 3 to 4 hour shifts
and the rest of the day is yours. Take down after show closes on Sunday--volunteers needed.
