"Wait-Listing" Classes
Thought you're calling early enough to get
all the classes you wanted? Oops! Too many others called before
you, and some classes are already "FULL"? Never fear!
Pick the other classes you want and call to register;
We can "wait list" full class(es) for you when you call,
and here's how it works:
1. If a class is being taught MORE THAN ONCE:
We'll place your name on a wait-list, and when any session
of the class gets a seat available (when another student
cancels OR if we add yet another session of the same class)
we'll add that class to your schedule automatically,
provided it does NOT conflict with another class you have,
and send you a notice by e-mail or regular mail.
2. If a class is going to be taught ONLY ONCE:
We'll place your name on a wait-list, and when that class gets
a seat available (when another student cancels)
we'll add that class to your schedule automatically,
provided it does NOT conflict with another class you have,
and send you a notice by e-mail or regular mail.
IMPORTANT:
We do not always have time to contact you
when a class becomes available from a last-minute cancellation.
Only wait list classes if you are willing to have that class added
to your schedule at ANY time during the convention (provided of
course it does not conflict with another class you already have
in a particular time slot). If you only want a specific session,
you should check back with us from
time to time rather than using the wait-list method.
ALSO IMPORTANT: Wait lists EXPIRE about a week before the convention.
You can always check in the show office upon arrival
to get tickets for any classes thatmay have had last minute cancellations.
