I was born in Courrieres, a small
mining town near Calais in the
northen part of France.
My brother Olivier was a talented
illustrator at the age of 14, he went
on to graduate at "Les Beaux Arts"
and is now a self employed Graphic
Designer and Teacher in Paris,
France.
My mother took art classes and did
very beautiful portraits in oil.
My grand mother also became a very
good artist starting only in her 70's.
She displayed her work in a gallery
in France and I still remember the
beautiful impressionistic work all
around her house. I also remember
the familiar odor of linseed oil, I was
only 3 or 4 years old. Yet I did not
have the confidence that I could be
an artist at a young age, so
it is only about 10 years ago that I
started to draw and paint.
I discovered that like my brother
Olivier, I also had some talent
because it didn't seems difficult for
me to create portrait or still life.
In year 2000, I had my first solo
exhibition at Trinity College,
Hartford, untitled "Celebration of
Life".
I received several commissions for
portraits of dog and people.

In 2001, I was commissioned to paint
two large canvasses in Acrylic
(65"X45") of the Statue of Liberty for
Manchester Memorial Hospital and
Woodlake at Tolland nursing home
in memory of September 11.
In 2000, I went back to school,
part-time and graduated "Magna Cum
Laude" in 2006 with an associate
degre in Graphic Design.
In 2004, I became a member of the
MAA (Manchester Art Association)
and was the program chair for one
year.
In 2007, I was voted on the MAA
Board of Directors.
In the same year I became the Exhibit
Chair for the Gallery at MMH
(Manchester Memorial Hospital).
Today in 2008, I work part-time in the
volunteer office at MMH and I am
enrolled at CCSU (Central
Connecticut State University) and
pursuing a Bachelor degree in
Graphic Information Design.
What I love the best in Graphic
Design is that the process of creation
goes deep down into the human
mind and emotion. It has helped me
greatly in my compositions.
I hope you enjoy looking at my
website and please send me your
feedback.
