Ugh. I've been fighting OJB all evening. Just can't seem to get it working within tomcat and the tapestry framework. I was actually really close to getting it working. I seemed to have so sort of classpath problem so I moved the OJB jar files from common\lib to WEB-INF\classes\lib which seemed to make sense since some docs pointed me to placing them there. Now I get an "...WebappClassLoader available: delegate: false repositories" error that's way worse that what I had before. So much for mixing two things together while trying to learn...

I'm not sure why I'm spending so much time on OJB. Hibernate has much better docs, and all I want is to get data from a database into my tapestry test program. Maybe tomorrow I'll work on that instead of struggling with OJB.

On a better note, tomorrow is the day before Thanksgiving. So I'm expecting a very light day likely a half day. Woo hoo!

OK. I need to quit starting each post with the word OK, OK?

OK. Well that first post was a pain. After about a half an hour playing with the FTP settings of Blogger I gave up last night. Now I'm sitting in the cafeteria of Chapman College and on a lark jumped in here to take a look. And what didn't work yesterday, now suddenly works today. Wierd.

OK. This is the obligatory "hey look at this, I'm Blogging" post. I guess its the Blog version of hello world...
