My Biography

I have lived in Fayetteville for over 20 years, and five generations of my family have made Washington County their home. My great-grand parents were hardworking pioneers that settled in the Woolsey community near the West Fork of the White River. My grandparents and parents were farmers, home builders, and industrial workers living in the Prairie Grove area. My mother opened the first kindergarten in Prairie Grove.

I have a deep and abiding love for the Ozarks. I've explored almost every hiking trail, river, and stream from Greasy Valley to Hemmed-in Hollow as an adult and when I was an Eagle Scout with BSA Troop 94- one of the many reasons I want to help preserve and protect the natural beauty of Northwest Arkansas.
