1. How should I use Voyage Through The Bible?

This study guide has many possible uses. It can be used as a curriculum for Sunday School, small groups, a Sunday evening or week-night teaching series, or as a personal study tool. It can be used for adults and students alike. The program works best when you begin in January and end in December but can be used anytime.

2. What denomination is this curriculum written for?

It is intentionally written as a non-denominational study guide. The program focuses on the basic and essential elements of historic Christianity that we as believers agree on. On certain topics that may be controversial and cannot be avoided, the material presents the different beliefs and leaves it to the teacher to emphasize what they prefer.

3. Do I need a Leaders manual?

No. All of the questions refer directly to the Bible. You can answer every question with just your Bible. Any translation of the Bible can be used. However, if an answer seems difficult to grasp, you should refer to a NIV translation to find key words in the passage.

There are teachers aids available for free download that help participants memorize scripture (Anchor Verses) and aid in scripture reading throughout each lesson.

4. How much does it cost to use?

Nothing. This study guide is absolutely free. It is copyrighted. Permission is granted for non-commercial use provided credit is given to: “© Voyage Ministries, Inc.”

If a church or other group is making copies for its participants, the group may charge a nominal fee to cover the costs of paper and a ring-binder (1 ˝” ring-binder recommended if paper is printed on both sides). The price charged to participants should not exceed the costs of providing the materials. No individual or group is given permission to profit from this material.

If you prefer, manuals can be purchased directly from our online distributor. Purchase Copies

5. How do we print the study guide?

Go to www.voyagethroughthebible.com, and select the link for “Free Study Guides.” Click on the curriculum you wish to print. The file will open in PDF format. (If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer you will need to download it by clicking on the link provided.)

When the file opens you may print the entire guide at once or by chapter at a time by selecting which page numbers you want to print.

Hint: The curriculum will print single-sided unless you have a very sophisticated printer and change your settings to print double-sided. Once you have printed a master copy of the curriculum, you will probably want to print the participant copies on a copier using the double-sided feature to save paper. The first page will print in color if your printer allows and can be inserted in the front of a ring-binder that has an insertable clear cover.

6. How should I promote Voyage Through The Bible?

You can also download free promotional materials that leave space for you to include your own detailed information. We strongly suggest asking people to “sign-up” for the class in advance. This will let you know how many materials to provide as well as create excitement about the study.

You can also have the author, David McLaughlin, come to your group and give his “One Hour Voyage Through The Bible.” This event is great as a stand-alone program but also works well in creating excitement and interest in the upcoming study. During this event David takes the audience through the entire Bible, including every book, in one hour with a multimedia presentation.
