bonus reward credits varies, depending on machine played and whether you win or lose. 1c/2c/5c (50/100 Play) NSUD, 9/6 JoB & 9/6 DDB on lower level near poker area. 1c/2c (50/100 Play) 9/6 Bdlx, 9/4/4 BDW, 8/5 BP & 9/7 DB on lower level near poker area. (10) $1 NSUD MG slant-tops just inside entrance to 1st floor from escalator. 25c 8/5 BP and 9/6 DDB on the lower level, close to the far wall across from the entrance. There are no quarter single line 8/5 Bonus, 9/7 DB, or 9/6 DDB anymore, which means no full pay anything below the $ level. Not much left for us low-rollers in Shreveport. The quarter 3-5 play MG's on the 2nd level do have 9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB. (The Deuces Wild on those machines are ugly.) The $1 MG's on the 1st floor as you enter from the escalator include full pay NSUD's. (5) 50c MG NSUD uprights on bottom floor beside poker room. 5c/25c/50c 9/6 JoB scattered around casino. (5) 50c uprights with 9/6 JoB, 8/5 BP, 9/7 DB and 9/6 DDB on bottom floor beside poker room. Besides what was reported in October, I found a few machines that contained 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP and 9/6 DDB. They are on the lower level, close to the far wall across from the entrance that has a bank of slots (Monopoly or WOF I think). One row has only 2 of these machines on the end near the wall and the rest of that row is single game of quarter 9/6 DB. On the other side there are at least 3 of the fullpay - location and game details are unknown. I played at the Horseshoe in Boosier City last week and the cashback was .25% (for the 100-play NSUD and Bdlx at least). MIA – NSUD at the Quarter Level. Since someone visited lately and found no NSUD at the quarter level I checked many machines for this, including the ones in the database and random machines around the casino. I too could find no NSUD at the quarter level. MIA – Quarter MG Slant-Tops just inside entrance to 1st (bottom) floor from escalator. This bank is now (10) $1 MG GameKing slant tops with NSUD, 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP, 9/6 DDB and 9/7 DB. Suspected MIA – I couldn't find the bank of MG full pay machines listed in the database as "25c/$50/$1/$2/$3 on lower level near poker area" This would have been one location for NSUD at the quarter level. New – (5) 50c uprights, with sign on each machine that says 99%. Includes NSUD, 9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP, 9/6 DDB and 9/7 DB. Bottom floor, beside poker room, beside the 100 play - location and game details are unknown. Updated machine counts for multi-play machines. Added Bonus DW game. Played $20,000 through on NSUD multi-play and received no bonus credits at all. Tons of single line 9/6 Jacks in $.25 to $25. NSU in single line $.25/1/2/3, Plus Jacks &NSU in $1/2 3plays. Also Bonus Delux, Jacks & Super Double Bonus in 50 cent and $1 3/5 plays. Multistrike Jacks at $1 (short pay at .25 and .5), 50 and 100 play .01/.02/.05 NSU, Jacks, Dueces bonus, Bonus Delux. There are others, like Db,DDB, but in LA games aren't allowed to be over 100% so they are much shorter pay than the other options available. There are others, make sure you check the paytables a lot are good, a lot are bad and a lot of people just play away without knowing the difference. There are now 16 slant-top single lines with $NSU. They are on the low level, by mens room facing poker area. These are multigame, multidenom machines, at .25 and .50 the dueces are airport/pnsu, but at $1 they are full nsu. This is a welcome improvement to already a place which ranks as one of the best Harrah's for vp players. They shorted these machines on Jacks to 8/5 at the quarter and 50 cent levels, still 9/6 at the dollar levels, but there are many, many other machines with 9/6 jacks in denominations from .05 to $25. Horseshoe in Shreveport, in addition to adding many playable games at 99.5%+ is paying cash back on vp at .5% instead of the old .25%. CB is now back to 0.25%. It is a little complicated but here is how it works since they have blended with the Total Rewards system: There are TR tier points and then there are Horseshoe CB points. Say you sit down to play and have 0 Horseshoe points. You put your card in the machine and it says you have 0 points. You begin playing and occasionally the screen will show how many points you have earned and what the countdown is. These points are tier points for TR, not Horseshoe points. Say you finish up with 1000 points = $10,000 coin in just like any other Harrah's. You take your card out and put it in again, the welcome message flashes and then it says you have 2000 points - these are Horseshoe points. Since 200 points = $5, you have now earned $50 instant cash back = .5% of the 10k coin in.You don't earn any rewards points at all on the Harrah's system, fine with me, I'll take the .5% cash. For comps there is a second "back screen" in the system. They don't/won't tell you how much you have available in specific amounts. You have to go and ask for what you want, ie dinner, buffets or whatever, they will then tell you if you have enough. Very gray and undefined. My host told me just come to her and she'll take care of anything big I may want. A good approach is to charge everything to room and have them take it off at checkout - they are pretty generous. I'm not sure if this cash back rate is going to last, but all indications are it will. The printed literature they have says you earn 1 Horseshoe point for $5 coin in and doesn't say slots or video poker, just coin in. The same literature talks about TR tier points and does make a distinction between VP at $10/point and slots at $5/point. This tells me it was intentional. The Shreveport Horseshoe deal was completed on July 1. The name is not expected to change at this time but it is now a 100% owned Harrahs property. Horseshoe now has $1 9/6 JoB. |
