*** MIA - NOV 2007 ***

All multi-line 9/6 JoB.

OCT 2008

Resorts has 25c/50c/$1 9/7 DB & 9/6 DDB.

*** MIA - MAR 2007 ***

$1 TITO 9/6 JoB PROG (0.75% meter) bartops @ center bar.

OCT 2006

They now have a lot of 9/6 JOB at 25c and $1 levels. This includes single line and 3/5 play. I didn't get an exact count but it would be at least 10 quarter machines and another 5 $1 machines. Cashback has changed to a straight 0.4% for VP. It takes $10 to earn a point and every 125 points is $5 (don't you love they way they make it hard to work it out in your head!). Not sure about comps but I earned $6 with $7,500 worth of action, which makes it less than 0.1%. They currently have a $1 buffet deal going if you use your comps.

NOV 2005

MIA: 25c/50c/$1 MG/MD 16/11 DDW bartops @ Delta Deuces Bar.

NOV 2005

Just got back from Tunica and 4 nights at Resorts. To my dismay, they have changed the Delta Deuces Bar to all 20 nickel machines with bad pay tables. The 16/11 DDW and nowhere to be found. Also the cashback on the Dollar machines at the main bar has been cut to almost nothing.

AUG 2005

Cashback on some machines is 0.375% but the vast majority pay much, much lower cashback, most in the area of base .1% or .3% for Platinum cardholders. For non-elite status players, the CB is a bit lower.

JUN 2005

The cash back rate varies by machine/bank. The 9/6 jacks progressive at the center bar actually have a 0.75% meter (I checked very carefully). You may want to add that the machines to the right of the center bar have $2 ACES Bonus 8/5.

MAY 2005

The best games were $1 JOB 9/6 w/progrsv and about a .7% meter. I played that quite a bit (NO RF) and the only other playable games were $1 3play 8/5 bonus and $2 ACES Bonus 8/5.

APR 2005

Harrah's is no more. I actually cashed the last bounce-back coupon there before they closed on Monday morning. They reopened Tuesday under the name Resorts Tunica. No changes in VP inventory yet. The new slot club is The R Card, which is supposed to work at all Resorts-owned properties, including Bally's Tunica (see below), the LV Hilton, and Resorts Atlantic city (still called "Resorts International" by a lot of folks). Couldn't tell anything about cash-back, as they are still pretty much on the Harrah's system. However, they did say that points still on accounts from Harrah's Tunica would be transferred to the Horseshoe -- interesting. Of course, the Shoe, Sheraton and Grand, all former Caesars properties, are under Harrah's control now. I asked the folks at the Shoe about this, and they said all points would be transferred automatically on or about May 12. The Shoe is a nice place with great table games -- unfortunately, their VP stinks.

DEC 2004

All games are now TITO and 9/6 JoB are available from 25c to $25. They now have 25c/50c/$1  16/11 DDW with the 25c being PROG, and they also have $5 BP PROG.

NOV 2004

There was a post recently that said all .25 9/6 were gone from harrahs in tunica, this is not true. there are plenty of .25, .50 &1$ single play. also triple play 1$ & 5$ was just there this wk. end. only 3 - .25 left at hollywood, but they still have 3/5 9/6 in high roller area.

NOV 2004

We also walked across the street to Harrah's where we witnessed the further destruction of full pay video poker. We found no full pay machines in 25 cent; and while we were there they took out all the 50 cent machines and replaced them with short pay. There are a few full pay JoB in the 3-play but, as best I can recall, only at $2 and up level. The buffet at Harrah's is just slightly better than Hollywood, not worth burning comp points to partake.

OCT 2004

Harrahs has downgraded the paytable on several of their .25 9/6 JOB machines to 8/5. Only the 5 .25 machines that are on the opposite side of the .50 9/6 machines are left.

SEP 2004

Colony Capital is buying Harrah's Tunica

APR 2004

Harrah's has 9/6 JoB in quarters through five dollars. They are all over the VP area, so directions aren't necessary.

JUL 2003

Good bounceback, I get $20- $40 per week depending on last months play. You also will get a bounceback for each time you play based on points earned that trip. Just about all vp is to the left & back from front entrance. walking in & going straight ahead you will come to prog bar. Good host Sean Schickdanze. Room & food comps are very easy.

MAY 2003

Diamond Lounges now require Photo ID to get in and usually you can only take 1 guest. Be sure to have your Diamond/Platinum cards to avoid lines for buffets (find one on the floor if you don't have a card so you can avoid long lines).
