Comments

Slot club operates on a "Don't ask, don't tell" basis. The amount of coin-in required to earn
bonus reward credits varies, depending on machine played and whether you win or lose.

Total comps (including marketing offers and discretionary comps) are based on theo and
probably equal about 0.75% of coin-in when you play their better video poker games.

Harrah's FAQ

**********************

AUG 2008

There is only one $5. single line machine with 9/6 Jacks left in the high limit room.
There are a few machines with $5 9/6 Double Double Bonus and 15/9 NSUD.

*** MIA - AUG 2008 ***

*** MIA - APR 2008 ***

(2) $25 MG 9/6 JoB slant-tops in high-limit room.

MAR 2008

Some 9/5 JoB can still be found at Harrah's.

*** MIA - DEC 2007 ***

All $1 and up pnsu are gone in the 3/5 plays in poker palace.

*** MIA - OCT 2007 ***

(2) $1/$2 MG/MD 8/5 BP uprights in Poker Place near buffet entrance.

*** MIA - AUG 2007 ***

(2) $1/$2 MG/MD 9/6 JoB uprights in Poker Place near buffet entrance.

MAY 2006

Jeffrey Compton "Total Rewards" Casino Player Article

*** MIA - JAN 2006 ***

(4) $1/$2 (3/5 Play) MG/MD TITO 8/5 BP slant-tops in front of main buffet entrance.

*** MIA - JUL 2005 ***

(4) $1/$2 (3/5 Play) MG/MD TITO 9/6 JoB slant-tops in front of main buffet entrance.

JUN 2005

The (4) $1/$2 (3/5 Play) 9/6 JoB slant-tops outside buffet are MIA.

JUN 2005

The two 25c Spin Poker machines there are also 9/5 JoB, but many of the machines in that small
VP section (strip side of the table games) were being shut down and moved Thursday evening.

APR 2005

Just was in Harrah's Vegas and the 9/6 Jacks or Better $1 machines including triple/five play
are all now apparently 8/5. The only 9/6 I could still find was the $5 in the hi roller room.

$1  9/6 JoB (3 Play) have reappeared.

MAR 2005

Looked for the $1 JoB. One that was in Dollar World in a 4 machine carousel has been downgraded to 8/5. Could only find 1 $1 JoB #1958 across from Dollar World and next to Keno. It's still 9/6. There should have been 4 according to the database but maybe they had already been downgraded. Lots of slant-tops, no 9/6. Only $5 & up.

DEC 2004

At Harrahs (or Rio) Las Vegas cashback requires 4500 total points to get a bounceback check of $10. Those points must be accumulated in 1 month. If you accumulate 2000 points in June and 2500 points in July you get zip. Cashback checks are good for at least 6 months.

OCT 2004

Harrah's still has $1/$2/$5/$10/$25/$100 9/6 JoB and $1/$2 (3/5 Play) 9/6 JOB. Their best 25c/50c game is 7/5 BP.

JUL 2004

Harrahs has a $1/$2 9/6 DDB in the sunken VIP area in the same bank as the 9/6 JOB and 8/5 BP. Also, there is at least one $1 MG that has 9/6 JOB; it is in the pit across the way from the sunken VP pit and is the last machine on the left when facing east. In other words, it is the machine that is the most northeast in the pit. (sorry for what may be confusing directions, but I can't think of another way to describe it) As is often the case with Harrah's, the other games on the machine are terrible, but there is a 9/6 JOB in there. Also, there are other mg machines in the pit that do not have 9/6; I haven't checked all the machines in the area, so there may be others with 9/6 JOB.

JUL 2004

The old banks of 99% are gone, they have one bank of BP PROG near La Playa lounge that are Ok, the old "video poker"
room is now half full of newer faster machines, same payouts as before but now no FP $1 JB.

APR 2004

The 25c 16/11 DDW and the 25c (5 Play) 10/6 DDB are MIA.

MAR 2004

The $1 and $2 SL JB have been converted to TITO and unfortunately downgraded to 8/5 JB at
the same time. As an addition to the database, they do have $5 JB SL in high-limits.

FEB 2004

I was there last month and the only 9/6 JOB I could find was $1. Full pay BP was $1 too. The .25 8/5 BP
is short pay for 4 kind. Best VP was the quarter 8/5 BP progressive at the RIO.

JUN 2003

1 Base Reward Credit is earned for every $5 coin-in on reel slot machines ($10 video poker), and Bonus Reward Credits are awarded based on the type of machine played. On average you get 2 Bonus Credits and 1 Base Credit for every $10 of VP coin-in (probably fewer Bonus Credits for positive VP machines).

It takes 3,000 (increased APR 2005 to 4000) Base Reward Credits in the year to get Platinum status and 10,000 to get Diamond status.

Comps don't expire for 6 months, and are banked indefinitely as long as one point is earned every 6 months. Also, comp points can be used at any Harrah's property.

Most Marketing offers aren't deducted from your Reward Credit balance.

Hosts can over-ride the new Rewards Program to take care of "good" players.

Hosts can't give discretionary comps until all reward credits are used up.

MAY 2003

Diamond Lounges require Photo ID and usually you can only take 1 guest. Be sure to have your Diamond/Platinum
cards to avoid lines for buffets (find one on the floor if you don't have a card so you can avoid long lines).
