However, this bank did not have the 1.00 pick-em available. I believe the other side of the bank had only .25 denom available. Next time I visit I'll double check everything again. Casino Host Helen Stetson will be retiring the middle of August. 5c bank of 8/5/60 SA slant-tops. At Casino Monte Lago, the Aristocrat nickel Super Aces slant top machines have been removed, as have the Aristocrat nickel Double Acey Deucey slant top machines. The bank of $ Pick'ems at Casino Montelago has been shorted in all denominations. The quarter bank of Pick 'ems in the next aisle was still at full pay. Casino Montelago has Bonus Deluxe with sequential royals at the quarter level in most machines. The sports bar (upstairs) has .25 10/7 DB and the 100.6 version of KBJW. All games above .25 are short. The downstairs bar has no 100% plus games. The number of bars where one can play 100%+ VP games and have good viewing for sports are few. Other than Casino MonteLago, Brendan's Pub at Orleans is the only one I know of that has larger than standard size TV and positive games. Casino MonteLago has Double Acey Deucey Poker: New Aristocrat nickel slant-tops; 9/6 paytable @ 99.52% according to 5-card's website, and Bonus Poker Deluxe: on selected multi denom - multi game machines with 9/6 paytable @ 99.64% according to 5-card's website. MonteLago has reduced the number of 25 cent FPDW machines and separated them. They have also slowed the machines down and will no longer speed them up. Play an average of $8000 coin-in per month and get $200 (4x$50) in bounceback per month. But earning the play on some machines, such as the FPDW, will not generate this level of bounceback. We were just there and the database still looks correct for FPDW. We only found (5) FPDW $0.25 machines in the entire place. The $1 NSUD at CM are located a few rows behind the Pick Em going toward the restrooms. Bartop fullpay remains, including 9/6 JB w/ seq RF, FPJW, and 10/7 DB. FPDW is now restricted to 2 banks. One is by the base of the escalator, next to the cage. The other bank is near the restrooms. FP PE in the Gamemakers remain the ONLY machines in the casino that aren't TITO. July promo: earn 500 points, get a free BBQ set. I just spoke with Helen at Casino Montelago. She is their only host. She actually works in a dual role of cage manager and host. Figured you could use the info to update the database. I was out at MonteLago Tue. night. The ten machines in the back by the bar (beyond the pit area) no longer have FPDW. They're all ten NSUD. They also shorted the DDB and Jacks or Better. The only full pay on them is 10/7 DB. The FPDW remain near the restrooms. I didn't check any of the other machines so I don't know if any other changes have been made. Also, freeplay now goes on your account and can be accessed using your pin. You must play it through once before you can cash it out. This was done on Monday night and only on two banks, the one that you mentioned and also the one across from the wheel of fortune machines next to the Club Uno slot club. Since I am only interested in deuces and joker, these are the only two games that I checked. They left the 4000 jokers alone at full pay, but they did short the deuces on both of these banks. On Mon - Thu in Oct they have 2X cashback, making it nominally .5%. However, you can only take it in increments of $20 (4000 points). There are no discretionary comps. You must use points. There is no buffet but a good coffee shop and the sports bar has some very good, cheap pizza, philly and other sandwhiches and wraps. There are currently coupons for a $5.95 steak dinner. Call the Player's club but they should be easy to get (I got them both via email and in a special mailer). The slot techs will speed the machines to the max if asked. All machines are uprights. Regardless of the signage, all VP machines are Game Kings. Floor personnel are very nice but morale is not good. Management makes many, many mistakes which keeps the place relatively empty. |
