(2) 5c 10/6 DDB Spin Poker near main cashier. Eureka has dropped the double points on Wednesday. Double points on Monday only. The Eureka is still the localīs favorite place to play. This is due to the large amount of good Video Poker at all levels of coins. Double points continue on Mondays and Weds. There are way too many machines to list here but all you have to do is look. Full pay VP is about 30% of the total inventory of VP. Progressives are found at the 25cent and the Dollar levels. It pays to watch these as a lower EV machine can get full pay as players play less then full coin in. There will be a Grand Reopening of the newly remodeled Casino during the middle of this month. More parking and a much large Casino is the result of a years worth of construction. As itīs starts to warm up a side trip to the Zionīs National Park (Two Hours Drive) is always a nice way to spend a day. Spring Time in Zionīs is always a nice time of year. The Eureka Casino, Mesquite, NV. has nearly completed the new expansion. This nearly doubles the Casino floor space, adds a new Poker Room and a new Buffet Room. Some scattered work continues and the new Buffet Room will open on the 12th of November. Parking will also be expanded. Some parking will be covered. Video Poker machines are continuing to be moved but most all of the earlier over 99.7% games can still be found in the old part of the building. There are to many machines to list all but all you have to do is look. All levels of coins but mostly 9-6 JOB and NSUD. The small bar with the 5 full pay, 25 cent, Progressive Machines is now being remodeled and it remain to be seen if these full pay VP machines and the progressive will survive. In the new addition you will find mostly Penny Silly Games but a few 9-6 JOB at all coin levels can also be found. Look in the Multi-Game machines and the Bar Tops. The Eureka continues to be the place where the locals find the best play. Cash Back and Comps continues at the levels found and reported earlier on the VPFree site. Most players, locals or other ZIP codes, also receive monthly Bounce Back Cash and other offers depending on play. Eureka has two 5c 10/6 DDB machines near the main cashier Five new Game King machines installed across from the main cage have 9-6 JOB but pay only 2500 for a Royal instead of the usually 4000. Other new VP machines installed by the main front door also are short pay. I hope this is not the start of a downward trend in the VP inventory at the Eureka. Plenty of good machines remain however. Construction of the new major casino addition is ongoing. No completion date as yet. The large inventory of fullpay VP remain. As many of the locals have now moved play to the Eureka you many of the favorite Full pay machines are busy most of the time. As the Casino is currently undergoing a major remodel (35 Million dollar expansion) many of the machines are moving to make way for changes. You may need to look for the machine you want but the inventory is still very large and you should be able to find a paytable to your liking. Lot's of NSUD and 9-6 poker in many machines of the floor. The Classic deuces and 10-7 Bonus are found only at the small bar in the five machines near the Cocktail station. 25 cent only. This was as March 30, 2007. So Many good plays here I can't list them all. Take your pick. Some with Progressives. No change here except for a lot more of the local customers. Some good mailings coming out of the Eureka including cash back and room/food offers. Extra $25 or $50 dollars cash back monthly. They wouldn't say how long this will last. Didn't know or wouldn't tell. The $50 mailing for food at the Steakhouse will cover a nice dinner for two if you use the Early Bird Special. Special from 4-6 weekdays. But prices are right all week long. Casa continues with the 5xpoints Mon-Frid. Midnight until 8AM. Oasis double points Sunday and Thursday. Virgin River triple points on Tuesdays and Eureka 2xpoints on Monday and Weds. This will be the last month of the 5xpoints @ the Casa. Management tried to pull this promo last month but forgot to pull it form the mailers and the local newspaper. Many machines have been added or changed to 9-6 JOB and NSUD. Including 50 and 100 play. All are MG and MD. Eureka now has the best inventory of good machines in Mesquite. The 10-7 DB and FPDW in the North Bar remain. Cash back and Double points days on Mondays and Weds continue. The 50/100 plays can be found across from the Main Cashiers cage and also across from the Security Booth/North wall. .01, 02 ,05 cent. They also have one Multi-Strike with 9-6 JOB, NSUD straight across from the Cashier's cage. Two Multi-Strike 9-6 JOB, NSUD second bank of machines south of the Bingo room entrance. One machine on each side of bank. .05, .10,.25,.50, $1. MG/MD Spin Poker now has 9-6 JOB and NSUD .05, .10,.25 found across from the Security cage and between the North Bar and the Bingo room. The Eureka is continuing to add 9-6 and NSUD to machines. They continue to add good pay tables into some of the older machines. Giving them the best VP inventory in Mesquite as the other main Casino's reduce the pay tables and pull VP from the inventorys. 25c FPDW slant-tops scattered around casino. EUREKA: The 5 full pay machines that I mentioned next to the Cocktails servers station are the machines located in the North bar. There used to be ten machines that were fullpay but when they went TITO they changed half of them to crap. So what is left is the 5 machines next to the Cocktail station. These are Multi Game Machines 25 cent and have your choice of FPDW, 10-7 Double Bonus and also 9-6 JOB. All the upright FPDW stattered around the Casino are now gone. All the full pay Deuces near the Restaurant/Cafe have been removed. Also the MG near the Sportsbook that contained full pay machines are now gone. The five full pay machines next to the cocktail servers station, North Bar, Bar Top, FPDW and 10-7 DB still remain. Many 9-6 JOB added on the floor and also now added in most of the South Bar/Bar Tops. Eureka now offers cash back: $10.00 coin in = 1 point on VP........... Cash back examples $5.00 for 400 points.... $25.00 for....2000 points. Food: 80 points =$1.00 in food. Points can be used for golf, gas and gifts at various local businesses using certificates from players club. Plus the usual gift shop, hats shirts, coats etc. Eureka has .25 FPDW, 2 of which are 10-coin (.50 FPDW) but are relatively slow. These are near the restuarant. Points are earned at the rate of $10 = 1 point. They have no cashback. The comp rate varies: 25 points = $1 of comps at the bar or coffee shop. 30 points = $1 of comps at Gregory's (Steak House), gas, etc. Also, points can be redeemed for logo merchandise so the value of your points is arbetrary...what do you consider a hat or T-shirt to be worth? Bank of 8 $.25 slant-top FPDW in front of the coffee shop. Two of the machine are 10-coin but they are all really slow. Unknown quantity of $.25 FPDW at the North bar. Slow machines. Bank of unknown quantity $.25 slat top FPDW in front of the Sportsbook. Speed unknown. Also the Smith's grocery store in Mesquite has a single $.25 FPDW upright machine! |
