Could not find 3 line Progressive J/B machines asked two change girls and slot tech,may be MIA. Still plenty of 10 quarter FPDW machines. Horrific ventilation system,the combination of low ceilings,an abundance of chain smokers and the weak ventilation system leaves a lot to be desired. No slot club.I have played in this place for long 6 to 8 hour stretches in the past and have never received a food comp. I asked on four occasions and was turned down every time,I asked head change girl an she acted very upset I was even asking. If you go in every day are over the ago of 70 and are clueless on how to play video poker you get a comp, everyone else forget it ! That being said the food prices are low and the food quality is good. They watch you very closely in this place,if you know how to play you are not welcome. Years ago they had many good games in this casino, at this point it time I see little reason to play in this casino. (2) $1 10/7/80 DB uprights near south Water street entrance. The $1 FPJW seem to be gone from Rainbow Club. They are definitely not on the bank of machines that had them less than a week ago. They did not even short them, there are no joker games on those machines at all. We checked a bunch of other machines, but the few joker games we saw were 17/7. This was a great play for $1 players, even with no slot club, as the machines were slant-top and super fast. We played there once a week and never saw any other advantage players. Most people on that bank would play penny keno. Also, some/many of the 10/7 DB has been shorted to 9/7. The JW, DB and JoB on the 25c/50c/$1 MG/MD TITO slant-tops are short pay at the 25c level on some of the - location details unknown. All positive games on the (30) 25c/50c/$1 MG/MD slant-tops have been downgraded. They still had $ KBJW on the multi-games. At least on one I found and played for an hour or so. It's possible I misread the pay table, but unlikely. I have information from a reliable source that if you appear to be pro, no not professional, just proficient to a high degree, casino personnel will ask you to leave. |
