(2) 9/6 JoB $5 (239 SF) single line machines in the high-limit area. (4) 10/7/80 DB 25c Game Makers outside high-limit area. (1) $1 9/6 JoB oversized upright between the slot tournament area and the slot club. New member offer has been reduced to 3X points. The Riviera Players Club is running an attractive new member promotion. New sign-ups can collect five times cash back for up to the first four days of enrollment, so instead of $200 coin-in on slots and $400 coin-in on video poker earning $1, you'll get $5 for the same action. Players can earn up to $500 during the four days. There are (2) $5 (239SF) 9/6 JoB in high-limit area. The lone $1 9/6 J or Better is still there. It's an oversized upright between the slot tournament area and the slot club. It's off to the left as your walking on the path towards the food court. I could not find any $1 9/6 JoB, and I looked pretty hard. There isn't anything at the dollar level better than 98.9%. But, the four $.25 Gamemakers with 10/7/80 DB (100.5%)are still just outside the High-Roller room. Riveria doesn't have 25c/$1 9/6 JoB scattered around the casino. They haven't added any playable games in 8 years, and their only good games are the lone $1 9/6 JoB and the (4) 25c 10/7/80 DB Game Makers. I stayed at the Riviera, located near Las Vegas, for 4 nights using the Gambler's Spree program. Once you qualify by playing $9600 total on VP (you can play $9600 one day and none the other 3 or any combination you want) you receive a $40 room rate exempt from the energy surcharge, $100 cash, 3 show tickets, including Splash, 3 buffets per day, $100 misc. credit, and $25 bar tab at the Le Bistro Bar. Their VP inventory includes 4 quarter 10/7/80 DB, lots of 9/6 JOB (yawn) in quarters and $. Their are also a lot of 9/7 DB in quarters and $. Other comments: Buffet...they must have improved it recently as it was quite good, not just fair as I was led to believe. Kristofer's...a good place to splurge using your $100 misc. credit La Cage...very good but you might want to upgrade to VIP seats. We didn't and some had trouble seeing. Splash...we all liked it so much we would go again. However we upgraded to VIP seats ($19) and that may have influenced our opinion a little. Employees...this was almost without exception the friendliest group of employees I've ever run into in a casino. Rooms...Monte Carlo Tower is best from my point of view. Alomst no light leaks in thru the drapes and the A/C is quiet. Beds are King and 2 Double, but the Doubles are extra long. Riviera Gambler's Spree - For $9600 Coin In over 2, 3 or 4 days you get: $100 CB, $100 misc. comps (food inc., can't be applied to room charge), 3 buffets daily, and 3 show tickets. Rooms are @ $40/night so the CB serves to defray the cost of the room. |
