Fitzgeralds will close in December 2008 Fitzgeralds has some 9/6 Jacks or Better in quarters and dollars. Fitzgeralds changes hands 25c JoB The 25c 9/6 Job progressives are MIA. Fitzgerald's has a bank of 25c progressive 9/6 JoB near the elevator bank on the first floor. Fitzgerald's only has the one tower, so you don't have to worry about being sent out to the old motel rooms like, for example, the Atlantis. I've booked relatives in several times at the Fitzgeralds on super- cheap ("economy") or free rooms, and they have all been fine and - to a person - they all just LOVED the location. You are right in the middle of the action . . . head one direction to Cal Neva/Harrahs/Golden Phoenix and the other direction to the Eldorado/Silver Legacy/Circus group. Just can't beat it. Yes, the train trench is under construction but the noise is no louder than the regular trains that move through there. Yes, as other have pointed out its no Peppermill or Atlantis. But about all I (or most of my relatives) every ask out of a room is a clean bathroom, clean linens, a reasonable state of repair & security and a cheap (or free) price. The rooms at Fitzgeralds delivers on those requirments, in my opinion. |
