(1) $1 10/7 DB upright near the main cashier right by a large pillar. They have moved everything around again, but the Downtown Deuces, KBJW, and the lone $1 10/7 DB are still there. Also, there is still 9/6 DDB at least in quarters and the Quarter and 50-cent 16/11 Double Deuces are still there. None of these are TITO. They are not too difficult to find as most of the coin-dropper machines are in the area between the cashier and the walkway to the escalator to the 2nd floor. There are still some of the video vp games, but I believe the paytables are lower. Those machines were always difficult to play because of buttons unholding. Vegas Club remains the same as far as full-pay are concerned. My report of the demise of the single $1 10/7 DB was apparently premature. It has been reported that it was spotted just inside the southeast entrance to the left as you enter. (1) $1 10/7 DB upright near cashier. (2) 25c 20/7 JW in sports bar area. The (6) 9/6 DDB across the aisle from high-limit also have 25c & 50c denom. I couldn't find any $1 10/7 DB. All machines in area by the restrooms near hotel registration have been removed. There are (6) 5c 9/6 DDB across the aisle from the high-limit area. (4) 25c 10/7 DB in main casino. (1) 50c 10/7 DB upright near cashier. (1) $1 10/7 DB slant-top near cashier. (1) 50c 20/7 JW upright between cashier and west side entrance. 'PlayLV' to run Plaza, Las Vegas Club, Gold Spike and Western Comps are reportedly based on theo. Get comps at the Player's club on a "Don't ask, won't tell" basis of how they accumulate. MVP requirements - For a 3 night comp good 7 days/wk $4000 coin in (4000 pts.) over a 3 day period. It takes 12 to 16 weeks to process and the offer is good for 3 months. For $2000 coin in you will get a 2 night Su - Th offer. The two Downtown DW at the Vegas Club have been replaced by Triple double bonus machines. If you've been waiting to receive the Winter Getaway offers at the Plaza, Las Vegas Club, and/or Gold Spike, don't hold your breath. Unless they change their marketing strategy, there are no plans tocontinue the offers under the new owners. At the Plaza you can still try to obtain a room thru a host (1-800-634-6575 X2425) Also, the Gold Cards for a free night at the Gold Spike are no longer accepted. The .25 and .05 PickEm are gone. A MVP Pass postcard came in the mail today. It's basicly the same deal as before, except that instead of having a year to use it, the offer expires on Sept 2, 2004. At LVC we played 4k over three days to get established with them. Before we began playing at LVC I asked a slot department administrative assistant named Emily (who funtions somewhat as a host) about future comps. I told her we usually play 7 - 8k and asked if that would cover a room and reasonable meals. She said it would probably be okay but we would need to ask the floor supervisors about meals while we are playing. After playing a bit I realized there are not enough hours in the day for me to generate 7 - 8k of play on their machines. Sooo Slooow. Takes $3 coin-in to earn a point on JW machines. Get 2 free week night rooms for $2000 coin-in over 3 days, or 3 nights (includes weekends) for $4000 coin-in. Now using coin-in rather than coin-out.
