25c NSUD - location and game details are unknown. (3) 25c 8/5/50 SA Aristocrats near the hotel lobby. Updated selection of JW2 in high-limit room.. (10) $1 8/5/50 SA Aristocrats just outside the high-limit room. PALA Casino (California) no longer has $1 Super Aces and only has 3 of the quarter ones. The $1 progressive bank still has NSUD, 9/6 JOB, 9/6 BPDX, 8/5BP, 9/6 DDB, and 9/6DB. The $5 machines still have two pair jokers and BP and NSUD. The Super Aces on those Aristocrat machines in Pala short-pay the straight flush by 10-coins. Full-pay IGT Super Aces pays 60-for-1 on an SF. The Aristocrats pay only 50-for-1. Pala has (10) Aristocrat $1 8/5 Super Aces machines just outside the high-limit room and (2) $5 3/5Play IGT slant-tops with 9/6 JOB and NSU Deuces in the high-limit room. They don't seem to have a point system; it's direct cashback. In other words, after you've played $10 through a machine, you see your cashback balance in the display go up by a penny, so it's 0.1%. Hello - I was there recently, and they had $5 9/6 JoB in the high-limit room. All of the full pay $1 JoB are right outside the high-limit room. The $5 machine I played had many different game choices, but I did not have time to check the pay scales on all of them. Also, I saw a $25 machine in there, which probably also had 9/6 JoB. The 8/5 25cent SA machines are close to the hotel lobby - there are 8 machines (2 rows of 4, back to back). They have many multiplay games (3, 5, 10, 50), and some multistrike, but the pay scales are bad (the 50-play 5cent JoB is 6/5!). Cashback is .1%, same as Barona, and can be cashback or comps. They are pretty generous with BJ discretionary comps, though, so I imagine the same would be true for VP comps. Just want to point out that the new 8/5 SA machines are not from IGT or other known manufacturers. I believe these newer machines that Pala brought in to replace the old Super Aces machines (which many people like to play before) are made by Aristrocrat or some unknown manufacturer and from what I heard from people who have tried playing these machines ... well ... I have not heard anybody saying s/he won on these machines. They even have 4-6 of these machines in the $1 level (around the center of the casino) and they are usually empty. |
