BBS*Tris
is similar to the popular game Tetris. The player tries to
manipulate falling pieces to form solid rows which disappear when
complete. Pieces will "slide".
The
game starts with simple pieces, but progresses to harder ones as the score
increases. The player with the highest score may input a comment
(may be edited by the sysop) that appears in the scores bulletin.
Reset
is automatic when a player reaches a predetermined score, defined by the
sysop, and a banner is generated that will display each time the door is
entered. The banner credits the winner and shows the date that the
game was won.
I
generated some real interest in this game by offering a month's worth of
more online time to the highest scoring player each month.
The
current version is 16-bit only.
