We originally started out with zines. When we started brainstorming the zines we wanted to put out, we had certain ideas in mind. We wanted color, high quality, photo manipulation illustrations. Thanks to the expertise of Taz and her daughter Marion, that part was possible.

    We also wanted to include multiple versions of some stories, one for all readers and one for a more adult audience. We found doing this in print would be prohibitive. For example, TRAS II, with its two versions and 100 illustrations, would be well over 150 dollars if printed to match our original specifications.

    That was when we decided on the two pronged approach to our zines. The print copy would be the story for all readers, with limited illustrations to keep the page count down. By adding a CD version of the zines, we could include both versions and all the illustrations we had decided to include.

    After the publication of our third zine, we decided to expand into other areas. Twisted Tsister also sells fandom related objects and other craft items. We also create CD's or illustrations for zines.

    Any products we sell are also available in a non fandom related version, along with other craft items at our 'tsister' site.
