The 23A Booster
This is the origional Booster developed
over ten years ago. The basic design is to generate additional
power from the battery that is added to the battery in a regulated
fashion so as to give 13.5 volts! It size is 5.5x3.3x1.3 inches
For example if the battery and cable
drop is down to 11 volts, the extra power is generated at 2.5
volts. This is then added to 11 which gives 13.5 volts!
This method cuts down on the amount
of converted power, such as in a home 110volt AC regulated power
supply design.
In addition the Booster operates at
an ultrasonic frequency which cuts down on the size of the tranformers.
Thus the Booster is much smaller and lighter..
