ATV 20

I have been to this area before (See ATV adventure #8 Payson S-W) and seen some of the burn out from a few years ago. I just passed through getting a feel for the area. This time I’m going to try and look a little closer at it. The rough description of the area will be, from Rye go West as close to the mountains as you can get, then go north,,, (ish) .

This area has some great ATV trail. I’m not sure a Jeep would fit down some of the road/ mule trails. I found a few roads that go deep into the mountains. This looks like it could be another trip another day. I’ll have to look at some maps and see if there is a prize to be had for venturing in.

On my way back I spotted a well traveled ATV trail heading up into the mountains. I couldn’t resist so I gave it a try. It was a great trail and enjoyable to ride. The trail offered some great views and an angle of Table Top Mesa I had not seen before. Up the trail want and just ended at this tree ,,, and a wonderful place to have a little snack!
