As you may have noticed I usually end up riding alone. This does get old after awhile. We left the house Sunday morning with My ATV in the truck and my dinkoid trailer in tow. We got a second ATV for the wife to ride along. We selected a nice new Polaris Sawtooth (stupid name). On the way back from the dealer we had to ride of course!
I think she is happy with our purchase !
It hasn’t rained for over 3 months and it is just a little dusty.
We made a stop for snacks back in the forest at our secret camping / picnicking spot.
We got about 20 miles on it. That’s good to just check it out and see that everything works.
So the wife got this new Polaris. She has been pacing the floor all week. We need to go somewhere relatively smooth, low intensity, not crowded, and warm. Well as they say 3 out of 4 ain’t bad ! The best place we could think of was up at Pivot Rock, OK it was cold at 6000+ feet.
(See below) Yes that is snow and ice,,,, WHAT FUN !
Summer
Winter
(Above) The back roads in this area are incredible,,,, as you would know if you read the other adventure pages !
(Left and Right) Yes, this is the same spot. People swimming in the canyon in the summer. This water is so frozen over you could ice skate now.
Many of the areas still look like Fall to me, but that’s what you get in Arizona. It was cold but the riding was as advertised “LOW STRESS”. The wife enjoyed it and that’s all that counts.

LOOK ! LOOK !,,,,
I’m in a picture !
