I got this friend, lets call him Glenn, and his friend, lets call him Jim. Glenn has this OK trailer and nothing to pull it with. Jim has this great F250 Power Stroke. They both want to try ATV’s. It’s a good thing they are best friends.
Yes, these guys are older like me but as you can see they are goofy like me. In an effort to really suck them into ATVs,,,, I played dirty and took them to the best place I could “PIVOT ROCK” I just knew this would suck them in !
They got a chance to exercise the rental ATVs. I took then on every good trail I knew within reason for the most diverse and enjoyable experience. We had some time left so we crossed 87 to the east and went to General Crooks Trail. We ended up doing over 70 miles.
We don’t know why Glenn was wearing underwear on his head?
He must have had a good time, he purchased 2 ATVs within 48 hours.
I knew Pivot rock would do it !
R.A. was having a benefit ride for an injured rider on the 25th in this area. I wasn’t sure if I could make it due to conflicting schedules. I wasn’t sure the wife would feel comfortable riding this track with a group. We decided to pre-ride the route.
The scenery was great ! The weather was great ! Yes that is snow !
We had a nice lunch up at the top, just off the snow-packed road and found several nice resting spots on the way down. We took a harder trail and went past and area they call “Moon Scape”. Some of the pictures I took could be on AZ Highways Magazine, beautiful !
You would think the wife would chase me back to the truck before dark,,,-NO.
