Don't need no gun. A real man can deer hunt with only his hands and killer instincts.
For a small deer this one was sure tough and rubbery, no taste,,, like plastic ?? LOL
It’s worth the trip to Potato Lake just to see the excited look on peoples faces ( see ATV page 12 for more Potato lake info)
After we went under the bridge we seen a sign facing the other direct that said NO Motorized Vehicles,,, Sorry
(Above)Looking up from the lower road to see Glenn coming down.

With many trips to Pivot Rock this had to be a great location to ride. I’m only guessing because never have I heard "Clover Canyon" uttered by anyone. This canyon is just north of the Pivot Rock area so it has to be sweet,,, AND WAS !
This 50 cent tour was worth a $1.25 ! We stayed mostly on the main roads but definitely got a good overview of the area. We saw big fancy cabins with llamas grazing. The best part was ending up at Black Canyon Lake. This was pretty sweet and I did notice a few trails along the main road. His is another one to map and go back to.
You can see the smile of approval on Glenn’s face.
Many of the roads were so seldom traveled it was hard to see the road.
The forest and general topography in this area was excellent. Clover canyon was spectacular with great view points and fine camping spots along the way. It was just amazing the lack of use this area gets. I call this paradise or as close to it as I have ever gotten.
What a great place to suck up nature.
After running on the Clove Canyon side for half the day we returned to the truck and moved on to the other side around Long Valley.
I have heard Long Valley mentioned once. We did have people on this side but not too many. We will go back to this location again. We drove by many side road that we didn’t have time to explore. I suspect on the side roads we will have little to no company.
So far this was one of the top rides I have been on with no big treasure, it was all a treasure!
It was just a quick trip to Heber to see some friends Denise and Sara. I have never really looked at this area for ATV riding so we got the 50 cent tour.
