6/17/2006 Rim Road East
We normally explore the west end of the Rim off Highway 87. Today we will look east starting at the Woods Canyon Lake turn off. Most of our travels will be on or around Rim Road heading west. We parked our truck at the last overlook before the pavement ended. (Military Sinkhole ?) . After we finally cleared the heavy Woods Canyon Lake traffic it wasn’t too bad. The Rim road always has excellent views.
Our ride included 3 lakes; Woods Canyon, Bear Canyon and Knoll lake
Glenn was a bad boy again and separated from the pack. He reprieved himself by finding some awesome AAA+ forest roads.
This was a really great place, McGuire Crossing at Turkey Creek. It’s hard to see in the picture but the road is very steep, don’t try this in a car !
So there I am telling Glenn to move out near the edge, what a great picture it will make. He doesn’t know it’s a ledge sticking out with nothing below it. LOL ,,, Glenn is telling me to move out closer and he will take my picture. Glenn is bating me because I don’t know what’s under me. See how great minds work ! I lured him out on a thinner edge,,, LOL,,,, I win !

I just couldn’t resist. It just looked too cool and at a very good price.
A little put-put motor (150cc) and it matches my truck and trailer!
As I feared this little SOB has no torque or power but does it ever move on the flat ! going up the hill below was no real problem but it’s a good thing it isn’t ain't steeper ! Believe me this is no Honda and it needs some help !
